Router - startup konfig a upload IOS

Vnitřní konfigurační komponenty routeru:

RAM / Running configuration, routing table, ARP/switching cache, packet queues
NVRAM / Startup/backup configuration
FLASH / IOS Image (IOS = Internetwork Operating System)
ROM / Startup diagnostic code
CONSOLE / Physical acces to initial configuration
INTERFACES / Interfaces WAN, LAN (motherboard or modules)

Schéma startovní inicializace routeru:

ROM	Bootstap / load bootstrap
FLASH TFTP server	Cisco IOS / locate and load operating system
NVRAM TFTP server Console	Configuration / locate and load configuration file or enter setup

Uložení aktuální konfigurace:

Router#
Router#copy ru st (copy running-configuration startup-configuration)

Zjištění konfigurací:

#show version / verze IOS
#show running-config / běžící konfigurace
#show startup-config / startovní konfigurace
#show flash / název souboru IOS image, velikost paměti flash/EEPROM

Vymazání startovní konfigurace:

#erase startup-config - vymazani
#reload - softwarový restart routeru
